WRITING PLAN: "A disaster"

• Give a title to your story!
• paragraph 1:  set the time and place! ( when was it? where were you? with whom? )
• paragraph 2:  yourself, the event and people's reactions  ( what were you doing when the disaster hit? what exactly happened? What did you hear/see? Talk about your reactions and the others',too. )
• paragraph 3: how did the story end? ( Talk about what you last saw/heard. Talk about your feelings.)

Write a simple story, then...

• check your tenses (eg. Have I used -ing to show duration? )
• check your vocabulary ( Try to think in English! )
• add some adjectives / adverbs to make your story more vivid!
