I was born in Larissa, Hellas, on March 13, 1965. I received my Ptychion in Physics from the Department of Physics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Hellas, in 1988. I then joined the Department of Computer Science of the Victoria University of Manchester in the UK to study for the degree of 'Master of Science by Method I' which I received on December 18th, 1989. Since then, I have been working as a systems analyst / programmer and teaching courses and seminars on information & computer science as described in more detail in other sections below. I am a member of the Computer Society of IEEE and the ACM since 1993 and the Hellenic Computer Society since 1990.
