Taking Action…
An action plan for the integration of refugees in our area

Our town wants to embrace immigrants and help them have a better life here. We are willing to help them and, of course, show them affection and compassion.
Our town can integrate at least two hundred people and we will make sure to provide them with accommodation and food supplies. In order for them to find jobs and start to adapt themselves, they can work at factories, where a lot of manpower is needed, or at little stores, where we can employ the rest of them.
Our school can help by accepting young children so that they can learn the Greek language and generally obtain an education by being in class. Both students and teachers will help with Greek and English language lessons.
Our community benefits from the immigrants because there is development in our area. To begin with, refugees help to provide manpower in the workplace. Furthermore, the allowance they are given by the U.N. is spent in our local shops. In this way, the economy of our local community will improve.
Taking all the above into consideration and to sum up, there are many ways in which refugees help our country to improve and we are willing to accept and welcome them.
