In these Easter-books you can write and draw the passion and the Resurrection of Christ. These books are created by pupils of the Peter-Petersen-School Frankfurt am Main.

The Easter-egg is a Christian symbol for the Resurrection of Christ. As the bird leaves the dark inside of the egg and breaks through the hard eggshell into life Jesus left his grave and overcame death so that we can live.

Before the egg became a Christian symbol it was a pagan one. Even today in many families in Germany children believe that a hare brings them the coloured eggs and sweets.
