Sensory Poems

We have to use our senses in order to write this kind of poems.  This type of poems follow a certain formula.  The most common theme of this type of poems is Emotions.  Each line should answer to each of the following questions: What colour is the emotion? What does it taste like? What does it smell like? What does it look like? What does it sound like? What does it feel like?  The theme of our Sensory Poems is “Feelings”

Love

Written by Teodora Benescu

Love is red

It tasted like sweet poison

And smells like flowers

It looks like  a red rose

It sounds like  a ballad

It makes me feel like  a pure white fluff

Happiness

Written by Andreea Pavel

Hapiness is orange

It tastes like sweets under the Christmas tree

It smells like spring flowers on a green field

It looks like ice-cream with red cherries and vanilla topping

It sounds like the bird's song at dusk

It makes me feel like a butterfly with wide open wings.

Love

Written by Elena Nelersa

Love is pink: perfect and endless just like a flower field.
It tastes like strawberry chewing gum.
It smells like an angelic fruitcake.
Love sounds like the cutest song on Earth.
And it feels like butterflies dancing in your stomach.
Because there's not a thing more perfect than to love and be loved.

Happiness

Written by Andrei Popa

Happiness is red :perfect like a rose from god

It tastes like a hot chocolate in a cold day

It smells like a field of roses in a sunny day

Happiness looks like the heaven : where all the souls rest in peace

It sounds like a nightingale:singing his life story

Happiness feels like the touch of your lovely mother in a sad day.

Hope

Written by Alina Cristea

Hope is white: pure like angels' wings and infinite as the sky.

It tastes like swiss chocolate on a stressful day

And it smells like lavender perfumes in a world full of dust and pain.

Hope looks like a shiny star, fallen on a broken chessboard; sharing its light and its strength.

It sounds like a divine phoenix murmuring a forgotten lullaby

And it feels like the sunrise after a long moonless night.

'Cause there's no victory without hope, there's no smile and no relief.

Loneliness

Written by Ioana Bejan

Loneliness is very grey,

It tastes like the sand of Sahara desert,

It smells like the sky before raining,

It looks like a tear falling on a poor kid’s cheek,

It sounds like the thunder threatening my confused mind,

Feels like you’re falling faster and faster to the flames of hell, with no one near you…

Love

Written by Teodora Savin

Love is the color of the rainbow

It tastes like freedom and chocolate

It smells like flowers on a sunny field

Love looks like a sunshine

It sounds like raindrops on the leaves of trees

It feels like mother’s hug.

Hope

Written by Valentina Sociu

Hope is like pure white

It tastes like vanilla cream

and smells like an expensive perfume

It looks like a bright smile on a sad face

and it sounds like a lazy wave that breaks on the hot sand

Hope feels like a reason to love, smile and live.
