VISA INFORMATION FOR ARMENIA
You can get free
visa with our help in Armenian Embassies in the following countries: France, Germany, Grate Britain, Italy, Belgium, Greece, Poland, Swiss, Austria, Romania, Bulgaria, USA and Canada.
If you don't have Armenian Embassy in your country you can apply to the Embassies of Russian Federation. The Armenian Consulate in Portugal provides Armenian visa for Spanish citizens.
In order to get free visa in the Armenian Embassy abroad you have to send us the application form, where besides usual questions contains the following:
- Passport type and number, passport date of issue and date of expiry, issuing
authority;
- Last, first and second names;
- Date and place of birth;
- Sex;
- Permanent address and telephone number;
- Citizenship and nationality;
- Occupation.
Your application form will be directed to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs where from Armenian Embassy will be given the permission to provide free visa. You will be informed immediately when your visa is ready.

Location: "Olympos" Educational Center
"Olympos" Educational Center is situated in one of the beautiful places of Yerevan - in Old Nork, which is in 15 minutes drive from the city center. The cable car is working not far from the Center, so while travelling to the city center you can enjoy its view from the bird's flight height.
"Olympos" was built in the 1950th and was one of the best schools in Armenia. More than 400 pupils study and spend their leisure time on the territory of the center, which includes children playgrounds, park and fruit gardens, small lakes and zoo, covered swimming pool. The program is organized together with the OSCE (Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe) office in Armenia.
Work: Volunteers will carry out an ecological work on equipping the territory of the center: creating the Green Gardens, equipping and renovating the small Zoo, creating of small irrigation canals and planting new bushes and flowers, as well as partly repairing of the building interior. Volunteers will also do some other maintaining works on the territory.
Accommodation: Volunteers will stay in the building of the Center's Hostel, which is also on the territory of the school. They will be provided with beds.
Excursions: Volunteers will have possibilities to arrange some trips and hikes to the most beautiful places of Armenia, such as Garni Pagan temple, Geghard cloister, Sevan Lake, Echmiadzin Cathedral, attend museums and theater performances in Yerevan.

HUJ 3 SPITAK 19/7-8/8 KIDS 20

Location: Spitak city
The camp is situated in YWCA Center on the territory of the Italian Village in Spitak city, which was totally destroyed by devastating earthquake in 1988. Spitak now is being currently renovated. The main aim of this camp is the aesthetic education of kids. It has been opened for the 11th time and has become a popular and traditional one.
Work: Volunteers and kids together will do all rehearses with songs and dances of the presented countries from where the volunteers have come and organizing a big performance in different languages. Moreover, volunteers will organize different workgroups for children, where they can draw, sculpture, learn different national and foreign songs. At the same time intellectual games, discos, English, German and French courses (by their wish), physical training classes and exhibition will be organized.
By the end of this camp volunteers will organize a performance and an exhibition of works of the children for local people, and also a farewell party.
Accommodation and food: Volunteers will live in YWCA Center.
Excursions: Volunteers will have possibilities to arrange some trips and hikes to the most beautiful places of Armenia, resort city Dilijan, monastery complex Hagharcin, Sevan Lake, Echmiadzin Cathedral.

HUJ 4 GARNI 21/7-6/8 ARCH/RENO 15

Location: Garni Pagan Temple
Garni Pagan Temple founded in 3rd-2nd B.C. in Hellenistic style served as a summer residence of the Armenian kings. It is common knowledge that along with its neighbors in Asia Minor and the Middle East Armenia had been drawn into the sphere of Hellenic development and enjoyed contacts with the Hellenic world, a future that had a definite influence on its art and architecture.
There is a castle not far from the Garni Temple, which is one of the biggest evidences of Armenian culture development level at those times.
Work: Volunteers will be involved in archeological, maintaining and environmental works on the surrounding territory. During last three years volunteers have dug out a vine yard of the middle ages and three other vine-squeeze yards, which were connected to Hellenistic bath-house, different pieces of jugs and ceramic plates. House with a bathroom and fireplace (tondir) of the 15-17 centuries was also found on the territory of the temple.
Two professionals from the Department for the Protection of Historical and Natural Monuments of National Archeological Institute will lead the work.
Accommodation: Volunteers will stay and cook in the building not far from the temple.
Excursions: Volunteers will have possibilities to arrange some trips and hikes to the most beautiful places of Armenia, such as Geghard cloister, Sevan Lake, Echmiadzin Cathedral, museums of Yerevan.


HUJ 5 YEREVAN 15/7-4/8 KIDS 20

Location: Yerevan Rehabilitation Center for Children
The camp is situated not far from the center of Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, next to the artificial Yerevan Lake, the bus station and the Brandy Factory "Ararat" which is famous all over the world.
Work: The aim of this camp is to organize the leisure of children with motor-system infringement and cardiac-vascular system illnesses.
Volunteers will organize different workgroups for children, where they can draw, sculpture, sing and dance, do physical training, there would also be organized intellectual games, discos, basic English courses. Also the volunteers will do some ecological work: maintaining the territory.
At the end of the camp volunteers and children will organize a farewell party.
The main aim of the camp - is the aesthetic education of kids. Volunteers, who help them, come from different countries and bring along a lot of ideas, spirit, love and warmth, kindness and make the stay of these children in this Center a great holiday. They make these children feel that they are needed, full-valued and to open their talants and abilities.
Accommodation and food: Volunteers will stay in one of the cottages of the Rehabilitation Center and sleep on beds.
Excursions: Volunteers will have possibilities to arrange some trips and hikes to the most beautiful places of Armenia, such as St. Sargis Church, Garni Pagan temple, Geghard cloister, Sevan Lake, Echmiadzin Cathedral, museums of Yerevan.
