CPI 01 LA CASA DEL BOSCO 10/05-20/05 ENVI/SOCI 6
Project: La Casa des Bosco in Collina is involved in local development through organic farming and environmental protection. The association is developing activities for children following the Rudolf Steiner philosophy. Volunteers will be involved in some of the following activities: they will work in the garden, paint the house and other spaces. The volunteers will also help local volunteers to organize an ecological party that usually opens the spring and summer activities.
Accommodation: Volunteers will stay in a country house that is built to host groups or families, with a kitchen and shower available.
Location: Broni is a village in the Province of Pavia, in the north of Italy, about one hour from Milan.
NOTE: Broni is quite isolated from the city and the house itself is far away from the village. This work camp is for nature lovers or for people willing to spend time doing voluntary service outside from the usual chaos we live in.
Terminal: Volunteers meet in Milan, at the headquarters of the organization.

CPI 02 YAP OFFICE 05/04-17/04 RENO
Project: Yap Italy is a voluntary service organization run by volunteers. The aim of the work camp is to renovate and to clean Yap Italy's office and space.
Accommodation: The work camp will be hosted in the Yap Italy office. Volunteers will prepare their own meals and they will do the cleanings with the coordinator. They will sleep in a common room on the second floor of the office.
Location: The national office of YAP Italia is located in Cinecitta, a neighborhood on the outskirts of Rome. This area of Rome is characterized by several severe social problems.
Terminal: Rome.

CPI 03 INSIEME IN MOVIMENTO 25/04-10/05 CULT/ART 11
Project: Insieme in movimento is a cultural festival that regularly take place in Noto during spring time. The 2004 edition will take place on the 8th of May in the Town Hall public square. The purpose is to experience, to know, and to interpret the movement and to share different cultures. Music movement, mobility, relaxation, tension, contact, union, smells, sounds, colors and above all... harmony will be the main themes of the activities. Taking into consideration all these topics a group of people with common motivations and through their personal input will create a choreography to exhibit during the 10th edition of the review of choreography. The end product will be a performance made by all your imputs, your ideas and your cultures.
Participant Profile: High interest in Arts in general, in music and dancing in particular, and previous artistic experience will be particularly appreciated, if not indispensable.
Accommodation: The young people will be accommodated in small appartments supplied with services and all that is necessary for the stay, comprising bed linen and bath necessities.
Location: A city in the South-West of Sicily, in the Province of Siracusa, famous for its baroque architecture, acknowledged by Unesco in the World Heritage List. Noto is one of the most beautiful villages of Sicily.
Terminal: Noto.

CPI 04 ZORA-ODOARDINA 05/07-16/07 ENVI/RENO 6
Work: Odoardina is a social center in Zora where 18 handicapped people (aged 20 to 35) are hosted during the day. Volunteers will work with them, mainly outside: they will do some gardening and take care of the animals (hens, dogs, goats, etc.). They may also do some work inside: clean garlic, collect paper, and clean and renovate the structure.
Participant Profile: participants should be older than 20
Accommodation: In the social center, with all facilities at the voluteers disposal.
Location: Zora is close to Reggio Emilia, in the north of the country.
NOTE: The social center, where volunteers will be housed, is quite isolated from the city. At the end of the afternoon the volunteers and the coordinator will remain alone at the complex. The hosting organization will provide volunteers with two bicycles; but, please bring games, music instruments and whatever you can use to create a nice group atmosphere during the night.
Terminal: Reggio Emilia is the nearest train station. Milan is the nearest airport.

CPI 05 LE CAVE DI PRUN 18/07-31/07 ENVI/RENO 15
Work: Local volunteers began work on this path during the past year and it is likely that the same volunteers will do technical assistance as well as manage the work of the international volunteers at this camp. The volunteers will cut branches, pull up weeds, move branches and trunks, settle stones to outline the path, and install wooden signs if there is time.
Accommodation: The volunteers will be hosted in the village's elementary school. The food will be provided by the hosting association, and sometimes the volunteers will be able to have lunch with the children at the summer colony in order to better intertwine within the community.
Location: Located in Prun, a small village near Verona. It is in between the hills of the Recioto and Valpolicella (regions).
Terminal: The meeting place will be the social center, with more details to come later. The point of reference is the Verona Porta Nuova train station.

CPI 06 ROIATE 1 31/07-16/08 ENVI 20
Work: The E1 trekking track is meant to link Piglio and Subiaco, thus giving the possibility to hike through the entire Aniene Valley. Volunteers will clean two footpaths (between Piglio and Roiate and between Roiate and Subiaco) they will cut shrubs and bushes that have invaded the paths and they will post some explanatory signs. They will also join some activities with local environmental organizations.
Accommodation: The local elementary school where all facilities will be at the volunteer's disposal.
Location: Roiate is in the Province of Rome, about one hour by bus from the city center.
Terminal: Rome, then volunteers will have to take a local bus. More information to follow according to some arrangements the hosting organiation is in the process of completing.

CPI 07 ROIATE 2 17/08-31/08 ENVI 20
Work: The participants will work near the town of Roiate. The work will be mainly focused in cleaning and renovating ancient roman walls. The wall was built by a Roman community in the Fourth Century BC. The work will be quite hard, because of the summer heat and much daily walking.
Accommodation: The local elementary school where all facilities will be at the volunteer's disposal.
Location: Roiate is in the Province of Rome, about one hour by bus from the city center.
Terminal: Rome, then volunteers will have to take a local bus. More information to follow according to some arrangements the hosting organisation is in the process of completing.

CPI 08 BRESCIA To be determined (August) FEST 12
Work: For many years the Social Centre Magazzino 47, in cooperation with YAP Italia and the media support of Radio Onda dUrto, have been organizing in August a multi-ethnic festival in Brescia and the event is a good opportunity to exchange information and experiences. Volunteers will help manage the various stands of the Festival and will clean the kitchen and other spaces. They will work in the afternoon and the evening and will have the opportunity to join the concerts, theatre performances, the movies and the disco.
Accommodation: Volunteers will be hosted in the local social centre, called Magazzino 47, a self-managed place for youth where social, cultural, and political activities are organized.
Location: Brescia is in Lombardy, in the north of Italy.
Terminal: Brescia is the nearest train station, Milan is the nearest airport.(Please consider the Milano-Orio al Serio Airport where several low cost flights options are available.)

CPI 09 MOGLIAZZE 25/08-08/09 ENVI 10
Work: Cooperativa Mogliazze works on the promotion of bio-agriculture, environmental protection, and the protection of the traditional buildings of the area. Volunteers will be involved in and get to know their activities. They will harvest and compile fruits and medicinal herbs and may also do some masonry work.
Accommodation: Volunteers will be accommodated in a traditional house in the village.
Location: Mogliazze is a village near Bobbio, at an altitude of 800 meters, in the mountains of the Apennine chain in the Province of Piacenza.
Terminal: Piacenza is the nearest train station, Milan and Bologna are the nearest airports.

CPI 10 IMMAGIMONDO To be determined (end september- beginning october) FEST 7
Work: International volunteers will assist local volunteers in organizing the festival by setting up stages and passing out leaflets, as well as participating in actual festival activities. The prescence and collaboration of international volunteers will also contribute to the success of the festival.
Accommodation: Volunteers will be hosted by the local public school. Volunteers will share meals with the local team, which may vary during the day according to the schedule of the festival.
Location: The city of Osnago, in the Province of Lombardy; situated between the main cities of the region: Lecco, Como, Monza, and Bergamo.
Terminal: By train, change to the Regional Milano-Lecco Line and get off at the Osnago o Cernusco Merate stop.
