PROJECT

The main objective of our programme is to establish a link among the subjects offered in the the two curricula. Such linking will facilitate our work, because students will not need to spend a lot of time on the programme and they will also have the opportunity to use their knowledge of the school subjects. This interplay of school knowledge and every day life provides a deeper meaning and interest to the learning experience and sets the basis for continuing education.

Following these basic principles, the relationship of our programme to the following subjects should be visible: Language, Literature, History, Religion, Political Science, Principles of Law, Sociology, Latin, Philosophy, Economics, Technology, Theatre, Music, Art, Home Economics.

In addition, knowledge acquired by the students from the following subjects is indirectly used: Computer science, Math, Foreign Languages.

Our main task is to enable the active participation of students with learning difficulties and to provide equal opportunities for boys and girls. Students are encouraged to participate irrespective of their sex, while co-ordinators of work groups are men and women. The use of computer technology gives the opportunity to students with learning difficulties, who usually face difficulties in the traditional school environment, to better express themselves.
