HALLOWEEN is celebrated on the 31^st of October every year in Great Britain and in North America. It is dedicated to the dead?s souls. It is a night with supernatural character since people believe that the contact with the souls is possible that night. Houses are usually decorated with carved pumpkins, candles and spooky figures. Children are dressed up ghosts, witches, wild cats or princesses and they visit houses saying TRICK OR TREAT. They laugh at the stingy people, who give nothing, by playing their tricks or they taste sweets. Furthermore, they play traditional games, one of which is apple bobbing. Children try to bite apples without using their hands. They take part in costume parties, say frightening stories and light fires or fireworks.
