Introduction

"Our educational thinking is concerned with; ‘what is’. It is not good at designing ‘what can be’".
from Tom Peter’s book Re-imagine

Have you ever felt that you and your students are thinking "inside the box"?

If the answer is "Yes", it's time to transform your classroom to an environment for interaction, creativity, exploration, and reflection. It's time to view yourselves as innovators, with your schools as your biggest supporters and your students as your greatest motivation. It is time for making up your students, making room for inspiration, It is time for your creative classroom...

Teaching for creativity is not an easy task, but it can be enjoyable and deeply fulfilling. It is true that you will need more time and planning to work your students generating ideas and evaluating them. But no education system can be world-class without valuing and integrating creativity in teaching and learning.

Why eTwinning is very important for creative classroom? Because eTwinning links creative classroom to the promotion of knowledge and understanding of cultural change and diversity.

Nowadays we listen very often about creative classroom and we have the following concerns:

  • Is it important to our futures that creativity will be taught?
  • What place should creativity have in our education systems?
  • Should we teach creatively or teach for creativity?
During this event we will all together try to find some answers for these questions.
