The Consellería de Cultura, Educación e Ordenación Universitaria has the responsability for educational provision within Galicia, an autonomous Spanish Region. The Consellería de Cultura, Educación e Ordenación Universitaria is responsible for educational standards and the training development of the schools workforce as well as all services related with preschool, primary and secondary education.
Amongst many activities the Xunta develops the whole of the curriculum for schools in the region in Galicia as well as teacher training and human resources, providing a theoretical framework for the training of professionals in the development of good teaching practices directly linked to the implementation of key competencies in the school curricula. As such, language learning, intercultural and heritage education is a landmark and cross curricular issue of education and responsibility of the Xunta as a way of promoting common awareness and fostering European dimension.
It is also responsible for providing teaching equipment.
The Consellería de Cultura, Educación e Ordenación Universitaria wishes to further develop European opportunities and partnership for schools in Galicia and also wishes to engage these schools in exchange opportunities with European schools and is fully aware of the potential for developing learning, innovation and change that it provides within the workforce. In collaboration with the other partners we will draw together schools, authorities and other partners to utilise, share and develop particular strengths, identifying good practices and expertise to provide a European dimension to both learning outcomes and teacher involvement, thus broadening and elaborating the value of European co-operation and common goals and outcomes.
INSTITUTO DE ENSINO SECUNDARIO "CAMPO DE SAN ALBERTO"

I.E.S “Campo de San Alberto”, in Noia is a public secondary school with 580 students divided in the following: Compulsory education (12-16 years), Post obligatory studies (16-18 years), Vocational study courses (health and administration) and Adult education.
At the stage of compulsory education we have four different levels and, with this project, we try to help those in risk of school-dropping and/or social exclusion by means of several measures: with extra assistance from a supporting teacher and in some cases adapting the curriculum to their special needs, so that everybody can leave school with a basic degree.
Moreover, there are three different levels in adult education: Level I (for those who can´t read and write), Level II (equivalent to primary school level) and Level III (similar to obligatory secondary education).In this level there are many young students who are in risk of school-dropping and/or social exclusion.
The institution has participated in several Comenius and Grundtvig projects.
There are 77 staff members. Teachers and students reside in various municipalities around Noia.
PARLIAMENT OF GALICIA

The Galician Parliament is the highest legislative body in the Autonomous Community of Galicia. The members of parliament come from the most voted parties, their task is to deliver and pass the laws that apply to Galicia in all the fields.
Within Parliament there are different field Commissions, which are the main instruments in Parliament work as they study projects and make proposals. One of these is the Commission of Education and Culture.
CLUB BTT O TREITO
To promote mountain bike and hiking practice and sport in general, to encourage healthy life.
To organize and promote activities related to physical education, through mountain bike and hiking, by means of periodical routes around Lousame (A Coruña) council and whereabouts.
Every year we also organize a BTT route of about 40km. around the mountains in the Barbanza area in which about 300 people from many places in Galicia take part.

The Directorate of Secondary Education of Magnesia is a decentralized body of the Ministry of Education; it has got a regional scope, providing its services to the prefecture of Magnesia and the Sporades islands. Its operation mainly focuses – but it’s not limited – on the following:
a) The administration and inspection of the operation of all the schools of the region.
b) The implementation of the educational policy and support to the introduction of innovations, new programmes, ICT etc to the educational system.
c) The human resources management.
2nd LYCEUM (UPPER SECONDARY SCHOOL) OF NEA IONIA-VOLOS

The 2nd upper secondary school of Nea Ionia-Volos is located in the Nea Ionia suburb of the town of Volos in central Greece. The school is a general secondary school with 32 staff and almost 300 students- medium sized for Greek standards. Age range of students is from 15 to 18 years.
It is in the same building complex with a vocational upper secondary school and they share part of the facilities, like the conference and theatre room as well as the gymnastics hall.
Both Greece and Greek society have undergone a transformation in the last 30 years and those changes are reflected in the school which, when founded in 1985, was a pilot school, very innovative for that time. Not any more though.
Recession has hit the area hard and the unemployment figures have risen in the last few years, as one after the other big factories closed in the town's industrial zone. Due to lack of a better option in the job market, pupils tend to continue their studies, hoping for a better future.
Teachers in school form now a young team of enthusiastic and committed people who try to do their best and give their all in a difficult situation, when all one hears is about economic and social crisis and spending cuts.
School receives students from two lower secondary schools in the area. The first one is located in a working class district in the town centre whilst the second is in a newly built area. Therefore students? background is extremely varied. Still, the majority of the students generally come from low and middle socioeconomic status families, so they are deprived from getting to know other cultures in their natural and social environment.
The Comenius Regio project will be a good opportunity for them to improve their communicative and personal skills. This project will be a unique experience for students to broaden their minds and horizons. The students could learn what it means to be a citizen of Europe and understand multicultural societies.
Physiolatric Club of Volos - PAN

The Physiolatric Club of Volos - PAN was founded in 1931 by a group of citizens of Volos who loved nature and physical activities and wanted to spend some time close to nature. They first started their walking tours in the nearby mountain Pilio, then in the mountains of Thessaly and later all over Greece and abroad. Since 1931, the Club has organized thousands of excursions, hiking tours, footpath cleaning and signaling, reforestations, cultural events etc. Thus, it managed to become an important agent in the development and progress of the city of Volos. Today, it has got more than 1000 members and a self-owned mountain shelter in Pilio.
SOCIAL AND CULTURAL COUNCIL OF THE REGION OF THESSALY

EKPOL is a civil non-profit council of the Region of Thessaly, public equivalent body, which acts in accordance with the Articles and clauses of the Greek Civil Code. It aims at successfully tackling obstacles on society issues (support vulnerable groups and promote strategies for social inclusion, cohesion and development). Additionally, EKPOL aims at implementing Projects for the cultural and tourist promotion of Region of Thessaly through co-ordinated actions.
EKPOL is founding member of the European Cultural Tourism Network and is currently holding its presidency.
Furthermore, EKPOL represents the Managing Authority of the Region of Thessaly, having the capacity to influence the regional policies and regional operational programs on all areas of interest, like education, culture, employment.
