Introduction

asterixThe two beloved heroes, Asterix and Obelix, are looking for the way to the druid Panoramix in order to drink the magic potion.
The Pythagorean Theorem is well known to all from the Math lesson in school and our heroes also know how was this theorem applied on tunnel of Eupalinos.
Based on the construction of this tunnel, they know how to calculate the distance between the two sides of the lake, which is the hypotenuse of a right triangle and the shortest route to reach the filter.
In order to take the shortest route of course they have to know swimming.
Unfortunately, in this case they don't know how to swim but they will construct a bridge to connect the two points when they drink the magic potion. So they start their adventure.
They have to avoid all the obstacles, to get to the tank with filter, following the white paths.
They count their steps up, down, left and right. There are too many steps and different routes that they can follow!!

What about you? Do you know how to calculate the distance between Asterix and Panoramix?
If not, you have to follow the steps of the webquest in order to get the knowledge of Asterix and Obelix.

Have a good trip in the world of Maths!
