My students come from small villages. The students are supposed to build up a picture/photo album. They must share photos/pictures with short descriptions. They should let others know a few facts about their hometown like living conditions, atmosphere and environment.
ΣΤΌΧΟΙ
– To allow students to exchange experiences;
– To allow students to tell about their birthplace;
– To make students look at their hometown in a different way;
– To let students know about other European countries and people;
– To improve students’ skills on ICT.
ΔΙΑΔΙΚΑΣΊΑ ΤΗΣ ΕΡΓΑΣΊΑΣ
– Gathering information about the students’ birthplace: pictures, photos, video and text; – Getting in touch with other European students by using google tools: drive, docs, photo, classroom storybird,… other apps; – Until January 31, each school must involve some students, individually or in groups, in order to collect photos, pictures, videos and text about their birth area; – Until March 31, the students of the schools involved must share their work so that each school can make an album in which every partner “hometown” is represented; – Until April 30, the students must publish their album in the internet (school blog, webpage, Twinspace…) and share it with the students of the other schools involved; – The teachers are responsible for the students’ work and they are supposed to give them a hand; – The teachers are expected to motivate their students, to make them aware of the importance of friendship and explain to them how important it is to accept different cultures.
ΑΝΑΜΕΝΌΜΕΝΑ ΑΠΟΤΕΛΈΣΜΑΤΑ
– The students should get some information from other European students’ birthplace; – The students should be able to know how to share information with other students; – In the end the students should have a list of contacts of students of other European countries. – The students should make an album and share it. The final product is an album, by using the app Storybird or others, to publish in the TwinSpace, in the blog of the school library and/or in the school webpage.
