 The terms "electronic waste" or "electronic waste" that characterized the electronic devices (among them computers, monitors, printers, etc.) not used anymore, regardless of whether they are discarded in a landfill or forgotten in a warehouse. What makes "waste" any device is not so much the place as evidence of completion of the cycle of life.


What are the categories of EEE;

The types of electrical and electronic equipment are classified in accordance with the European and Greek legislation, the following 10 distinct product categories:
1. Large household appliances
2. Small household appliances
3. IT and telecommunications equipment
4. Consumer equipment
5. Lighting equipment
6. Electrical and electronic tools (except large scale stationary industrial tools)
7. Toys, leisure and sports equipment
8. Medical devices (except implanted and infected products)
9. Monitoring and control instruments
10. Automatic dispensers
