Last efforts are mainly through programs subsidized by the European Union and there is a growing interest from educational institutions (D / nseis Education, Universities), Local Government Associations and local authorities and private companies. From 2004 up through the law firm RECYCLING EQUIPMENT SA, which is the body responsible for the organization and operation of the College Management System Alternative A.I.I.E. in Greece.

The company RECYCLING EQUIPMENT SA today (early 2007), the only national institution licensed in Greece, for the organization and operation of an alternative system of collective management (SSED) WEEE to meet the quantitative national WEEE collection targets set by the PD 117/04.
