Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
(WEEE -ewaste)

The disposal of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) should be systematically collected for the inactivation of some materials, and reuse of other people. We must adopt methods and techniques [10] and recycling, under certain conditions and circumstances for a proper environmental management of electronic waste.

Information and awareness of students that young people, teachers and the general public is necessary. The use of websites and general information material in both environmental education and cross-level can have a positive impact on increasing participation in WEEE recycling programs.

The volume of WEEE is large, requiring considerable work to achieve the target set by the EU for recycling. Moreover, the legislation is in force, a failure to achieve the targets of WEEE collection, although the need for proper management are real and increasingly urgent. The simple legal obligation to withdraw can not be successful. The active participation of young people in the systematic collection of WEEE through either raising the educational process, either through incentives, an important factor.
