ACROSS THE BIBLE NEWS APRIL 2007 Greek students draw Easter picturesIoanna Komninou ATBible across Europe contribution to a National Contest in PortugalDr. Teresa Fernandes The Portuguese School entered a contest launched by the Portuguese Innovation Section of the National Department for Education. The texts used were Jesus calms the Storms and Paul's Shipwreck. The topic WINDSTORMS and SEASTORMS was associated with EMOTIONAL STORMS in the HEARTS of men, based on Turner's paintings on shipwrecks at sea. Hot Cross Buns at EasterIt' not a German but an english tradition: sweet cake-rolls (buns) eaten at Good Friday: hot cross buns-very delicious! These are favourably-priced and easily-made cake-rolls.
