The assembler produces 3 kinds of output.
- MIF files that can are included in the VHDL code to intialize rom & ram
- Source code that you can copy paste at the initialization routine of rom/ram again in VHDL
- Raw binary file (.bin) that can be loaded in memory (from the SD card).
I currently use the mif files produced to initalize rom and a bin file to load tiny basic .
