A beautiful village built between
two hills. It is 16 km east of Krestena and has 681 residents.
SIGHTS
ST. ATHANASIOS CHAPEL
It is 4 km North of the village.
It was built before the revolution. It has on oblong some
roof and built of peculiar materials and method. It was the parish church of
the abandoned village of Koutsohera.
THE LOCATION OF THE TWO TOMBS OF DIASEELA.
In 1951 a marvellous ceremonial piece of pottery, among
other things, was found in the area of Koutsohera. It is now exhibited in
the museum in Ancient Olympia.
THE SPRINGS OF KRIOVRISI
near the entrance of the village. The old stone fountain with cold water
covered in ivy and surrounded by huge maple trees may quench the thirst of
the passer by and offer shade and relaxation.

LOCAL CELEBRATIONS:
A fair on 14 and 15 August
(in honour of the virgin Mary)
in the village square with folk groups and roast pork.
