Healthy diet and school. Our health depends on three factors: diet, hereditary and environment. The learning of basic principals of balanced diet and their application in our daily life contribute in complete bodily, intellectual and mental growth of the individual and remove the danger of growth of various chronic illnesses. The good diet habits in children can be the bases for good health, while on the contrary bad diet habits create problems in their health. We know that too much weight is the main cause for the appearance of many diseases (diabetes, heart diseases and hypertension). It is important for that reason the school’s contribution in the adoption of healthy diet habits by the children.
