WELCOME TO OUR SCHOOL
Our school name is “1 Epal Artas” . it’s a vocational school. It has been housed in the same building since 1980. The location is inside the city forest.
Our school complex has three separate buildings . The school unit is housed in a complex of total area 6.925,40 t.
The building complex consists of three main building of two-storey, , mostly P-shaped buildings surrounding the courtyard of the school complex.
This complex was built in the 1970s.
The first building has three storey . it’s the main building for the theoretical lessons. The other two buildings are for laboratory lessons.
Our school has 1 principal , 2 vice principals and 70 teachers.

All courses starts at 8:15 at morning and finish at 14:00 every weekday. The every day curriculum has theoretical lessons and laboratory, according to the class grade. 1 grade has more theoretical lessons which are becoming more at 2 grade and more at 3 grade.
After the 3 grade the students are taking a diploma. There is a chance for apprenticeship after finishing school. That is for 1 year in which the students are going on professionals environments for 4 days per week and 1 day at school . by finishing that the students are taking a upper diploma. On that stage the student is getting paid from the work .
Our pupils have very good result on the exams for university.
Extra curriculum activities :
2019: the school team with a head teacher won the first price of the new idea at the robot contest
2019: a school team with a head teacher won the first price for a movie about Greek Jew Holocaust
2019 : a student won the silver metal at the Greek contest for young boxers
2020 : a school team with a head teacher won the first price for a movie about Greek Jew Holocaust for the second year.
Every Christmas group of students sell at Bazars their own works and the money they collect they decide in which institute they will donate
Every year we participate on the school athletic events. There were years that our teams won the first price.
Last but not least the school is collecting plastic bottle cups. We manage to donate through that a wheelchair to someone who need it.
