WELCOME TO OUR SCHOOL
Our school started its activities with the name of Ortakoy 80th Year Industrial Vocational High School in 2004-2005 academic year. Today about 800 students continue their education at our school.
Turkey has 12 years compulsory education and the government ensures all kinds of educational opportunities and possibilities as free. Education is completely free and all the requirements of the school are provided by the state due to the public institution.
The Ortaköy 80th Year MTAL includes three separate education buildings;
Block A with 3 floors involves the classes of culture courses, laboratories, gymnasium, administration rooms, library, conference hall, canteen and storage rooms.
Block B with 2 floors consists of these departments; Furniture Interior Design Field, Installation Technology and Air Conditioning Field, Machinery Technology Field and Metal Technology Field. There is also a dining hall on the underfloor.
Block C with 2 floors includes ICT Department and also Electric and Electronic Field. Our school, roughly 15 km away from the city center, has no difficulty in transportation. The fact that it is located on the edge of the highway and the convenient access to public transport provides an advantage for our students and teachers.
1 principal, 3 vice principals ,26 technical teachers, 56 cultural lecture teachers and 7 auxiliary staffs are in charge of managing and offering education at Ortaköy 80th Year MTAL.
Courses start at 08:30 every day on weekdays and end at 16:30. The departure time is variable due to classroom course obligations. 12th grade students spend 3 days a week in companies where they have internships.

MISSION: We, with our managers, teachers and all our employees working at Ortaköy 80th Year Technical and Industrial Vocational High School, work to ensure that our students learn, to give them the opportunity to grow up as knowledgeable, skilled and self-confident individuals, and to provide them with skills that can meet the evolving needs of the age.

DEPARTMENTS IN OUR SCHOOL INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY
In ICT department we have 2 main branches which are Web Programming and Database programming. and also robotic trainings are provided by ROBORT club that is founded by ICT department. This club is open for all attenders whom may concern.
ELECTRICITY AND ELECTRONICS DEPARTMENT
In this field the branches are video and sound systems, electrical installations and panel monitor.
METAL TECHNOLOGIES
Metal Technology Field has the welding branch.
MACHINERY TECHNOLOGIES
Our students are trained in CNC (Computer Numerical Control) branch.
INSTALLATION TECHNOLOGY AND AIR CONDITIONING DEPARTMENT
Our students are trained in Climate System Technology branch.
FURNITURE INTERIOR DESIGN
This field has Interior draftsmanship branch.
FURTHERMORE;
Our robot club joins to in national and international robot competitions. In the Robot Contest held in Yıldırım Beyazıt University in 2016, they came in first in the category of "following line" and came in third in "free category". We attended 11 EU projects in 2017, 25 project from 2013 to 2021. Furthermore our school has European quality label and White Flag which is given to school that has first class of cleanliness and hygiene.
