RED
Red is an apple
Red is a cherry
Red is a rose
And a ripe strawberry.
COLOURS
Red is the colour of anger
Welling up inside of me
Orange
is the colour of fun
And all my happy
energy.
Yellow is the colour of the sun
Which makes me feel happy and warm
Green is the colour of giggles and laughter
Midnight feasts in a boarding room
dorm.
Blue is the color for calm and cool
Like swimming in a swimming
pool.
Pink is the colour of blushing and happy
Love and kisses and all stuff that’s sappy
Colours describe how we feel every day
Listen to colours
They’ll help you find your way.
YELLOW, GREEN
The sun is yellow
Your eyes are green
My heart beats like crazy
because……
YOU are my dream!

A
rainbow of colors,
In the light, after rain.
There are seven of them,
And, each one has a name.
Red is the first
Rainbow color in the sky.
Orange
is next
Like jack-o-lantern pie.
Yellow is the third,
Lemons come to mind.
Color four is green,
Think of grassy hills to climb
Blue is color five,
Like the water in a lake
The sixth is indigo
Blue-gray blends that you can make.
Violet is the color
Of the last rainbow band.
Violet is flowery;
Like the pedals in your hand.
So, wave your arms above you
Cast your colors high
And, try to make a rainbow
Across a cloudy sky

Holland
is a name in common usage given to a region in the western part of the
Netherlands.
The
name 'Holland' is also often informally used to refer to the whole of
the country of the Netherlands.
By
the 17th century, Holland had risen to become an economic
power, dominating the other provinces of the Dutch
Republic.
Today, the former County of Holland consists of the two Dutch provinces
of North Holland and South Holland.
Holland
is situated in the west of the Netherlands.
It
has numerous rivers and lakes and an extensive inland canal and waterway
system.
Holland
is protected from the sea by a long line of coastal dunes.
Holland
is 7,494 square kilometres (land and water included), making it roughly
13% of the area of the Netherlands.
The
combined population is 6.1 million.
The
main cities in Holland are Amsterdam and Rotterdam.
Amsterdam is formally the capital
of the Netherlands
and its most important city.
The
Port
of Rotterdam
is Europe's largest and most important harbour and port.
EDUCATION
The
education system in Holland is known for its high quality and its
international study environment. The Universities
in the Netherlands
enjoy a worldwide reputation. Studying in the Netherlands developes an
open mind and increase your international orientation.
SPORT
Cycling
You
will see the most beautiful spots in Holland while cycling around. Cycle
past endless bulb fields and wide rivers and discover the magnificent
dunes just behind the coast. Numerous cycle routes have been mapped out
through woods, heaths and polders. Major cities, such as Amsterdam and
Rotterdam, are also great fun to explore by bike.
Golfing
To
be able to play golf on a Dutch golf course, a Golf Certificate (GVB)
must be shown. The holder of a GVB has proven to have sufficient
knowledge of the rules of the game and proven a certain degree of skill.
For those who do not have access to such a Golf certificate, a Handicap
Card (with index) is required.
Leisure
time
Artis
offers many possibilities for an enjoyable and exciting day out. You can
take a look at animals from all parts of the world. Or you can visit the
Geological Museum, the Zoological Museum, the Plant Houses, the Aquarium
or the Planetarium.
Artis is first and foremost a zoo with magnificent animals. For example,
you will find desert antilopes, llamas and giraffes. You can also see
the zookeepers feeding the animals at fixed times. If you walk
further through the zoo you can visit the revamped Aquarium. Here you
see a real coral reef and a tidal forest as well as a real Amsterdam
Canal!
Museum
and Art
Do
you want to learn something during a day out? You can if you visit the
Zoological Museum or the Geological Museum. In the Geological Museum the
history of life on earth is told by means of various activities. In the

Russia
Geography
The
geography of Russia entails the physical
and human
geography of Russia,
a country extending over much of northern Eurasia.
Comprising much of eastern
Europe and northern
Asia, it is the world's
largest country in total area. Due to its size, Russia displays both
monotony and diversity. As with its topography, its climates, vegetation,
and soils span vast distances. From north to south the East
European Plain is clad sequentially in tundra,
coniferous forest (taiga),
mixed and broad-leaf forests, grassland (steppe),
and semi-desert (fringing the Caspian
Sea) as the changes in vegetation reflect the changes in climate. Siberia
supports a similar sequence but is taiga. The country contains 40 UNESCO
Biosphere
reserves
Art
From
icons and onion domes to suprematism and the Stalin baroque, Russian art
and architecture seems to many visitors to Russia to be a rather
baffling array of exotic forms and alien sensibilities.
Education
Education
in Russia is provided predominantly by the state and is
regulated by the federal
Ministry of Education. Regional authorities regulate education
within their jurisdictions within the prevailing framework of federal
laws.
Before
1990 the course of school training in Soviet Union was 10-years, but at
the end of 1990 the 11-year course has been officially entered.
Education in state-owned secondary schools is free; first
tertiary (university level) education is free with reservations: a
substantial share of students is enrolled for full pay. Male and female
students have nearly equal shares in all stages of education, except
tertiary education where women lead with 57%.
The
literacy
rate in Russia, according to the 2002
census, is 99.4% (99.7% men, 99.2% women). 16.0% of population over
15 years of age (17.6 million) have tertiary (undergraduate level or
higher) education; 47.7% have completed secondary
education (10 or 11 years); 26.5% have completed middle
school (8 or 9 years) and 8.1% have elementary
education. Highest rates of tertiary
education, 24.7% are recorded among women aged 35–39 years (compared
to 19.5% for men of the same age bracket).
Sports
The
Russians play all kinds of sport including basketball, volleyball,
football, tennis, table tennis, boxing, skiing, hockey, skating, etc.
The girls in Russia indulge in sporting activities like gymnastics,
figure-skating, etc. The tourists in Russia are likely to get ample
opportunities to take part in all the sporting activities mentioned. You
can also try out water sports like swimming, diving, canoeing, etc.
Fishing is also one of the ways of spending leisure time in Russia.

Land
and People
GEOGRAPHY
Extending
across the north and south side of the Alps. The
population is about 7.7 million, resulting in an average population
density of around 190 people per square kilometre.
SPORTS
Skiing, snowboarding and mountain reign are among the most
popular sports in
Switzerland
, the nature of the country being particularly suited for such
activities.
Traditional sports include Swiss wrestling or
"Schwinger".
It is an old tradition from the rural central cantons and considered the
national sport by some.
EDUCATION
Education in
Switzerland
is very diverse because the constitution of
Switzerland
delegates
the authority for the school system to the cantons
. There are both public and private schools,
including many private international schools. The minimum age for
primary school is about six years in all cantons, but most cantons
provide a free "children's school" starting at four or five
years old.
LEISURE
Leisure activities range from taking part in
gruelling sports to relaxing with family and friends. Many people also
devote part of their leisure time to the public service.
