The handwriting session

This is a session I organised after a coursebook unit which dealt with adjectives, their use and their formation. I chose a video that describes some basic personality traits as revealed by a person’s handwriting and I built around it a whole lesson.

Then, we listened to a song that includes a lot of adjectives and also gives them the chance to form adjectives as taught in the book’s unit.

In the post-listening stage the students had to produce some writing, meaning that they had to describe themselves using as many adjectives as possible both from this session and the coursebook unit. It was a successful and pleasant activity in which all of the students participated in one way or the other!
