Quizizz

This year I became a fan of Quizizz.com myself and made good use of it in the classroom.

This is an online app that allows you to create quizzes for your students or use any of the quizzes that other teachers have prepared. Are you teaching grammar? Surely, you can find a relative quiz. Are you teaching cultural elements

or historical facts? One such quiz will be there for you to use.

I usually prepare a number of quizzes when we finish each unit. That way the students are able to remember the material better because they really are visual learners nowadays, as we all know! Sometimes I ask them to revise for a test and right before giving them the test, I allow them to play a game on Quizizz, which I find is an excellent opportunity for revision!

This year we played simultaneously with classes from other countries, sharing our knowledge on each other’s country. This site has been helpful with our Erasmus+ project too.

It is easy to use, needs no log in from the part of the participants and all you need to play it is a computer or even a mobile phone!
