Film genres

This is a worksheet I prepared to elaborate on the topic of film genres which we came across in a unit of our coursebook.

I chose to introduce the topic by making use of two movie clips and then I designed the activities we did in class.

I also used a behind-the -scenes video that shows how one of these scenes was filmed.

Finally we watched many different film genres and use adjectives to describe them.

The videos I used are from the films “The impossible” and “Hereafter”

Both were very successful in grabbing the students’ attention and introducing the topic.
