Space oddity
While preparing activities for my lessons I tend to use authentic material as much as possible.
How can I then omit the use of my beloved David Bowie music?
This year I chose to present this unique artist’s work via a song which talks about alienation and
the difficult decision to leave our comfort zone and venture into new territories.
Below are the task-sheets I have prepared and the videos I have used. I also suggest playing the “Finding fame” documentary (51′-58′) in order to help students understand the song better, after they have listened to it and tried to do the subsequent activities.
