Το Athens Lifelong Learning Institute σας προσκαλεί σε εκδήλωση με θέμα «Ασφάλεια στο διαδίκτυο: γεφυρώνοντας το χάσμα μεταξύ γονέων και παιδιών», στο πλαίσιο του ευρωπαϊκού έργου European SafeOnline Initiative.
Βασικοί ομιλητές θα είναι:
Χάρις Ξιναρή, Αναπληρώτρια Καθηγήτρια Κριτικής και Πολιτισμικής Θεωρίας, Προέδρος του Τμήματος Ανθρωπιστικών Επιστημών στο Ευρωπαϊκό Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου
Γεράσιμος Κουζέλης, Ομότιμος Καθηγητής Κοινωνικής Θεωρίας και Κοινωνιολογίας στο Εθνικό και Καποδιστριακό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών
Η εκδήλωση θα πραγματοποιηθεί στο Κέντρο Πολιτισμού Ίδρυμα Σταύρος Νιάρχος – Αίθουσα Πολλαπλών Χρήσεων 2, τη Δευτέρα 30 Ιανουαρίου 2023 και ώρα 18:00 – 20:00.

Το έργο European SafeOnline Initiative (ESOI), το οποίο χρηματοδοτείται από το πρόγραμμα Erasmus+ της Ευρωπαϊκής Επιτροπής, στόχο έχει να βελτιώσει τα επίπεδα γραμματισμού στα νέα μέσα των παιδιών και των νέων μέσω της εκπαίδευσης των γονέων τους. Δίνεται έμφαση στην κατανόηση των κινδύνων που συναντώνται στα ψηφιακά περιβάλλοντα και την καλλιέργεια δεξιοτήτων για την αποφυγή τους, με όραμα ένα ασφαλές διαδίκτυο για όλους.

The Athens Lifelong Learning Institute invites you to an event on “Internet safety: bridging the gap between parents and children”, in the context of the European SafeOnline Initiative.
The main speakers will be:
Haris Xinari, Associate Professor of Critical and Cultural Theory, Chair of the Department of Humanities at the European University Cyprus
Gerasimos Kouzelis, Professor of Social Theory and Sociology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens
The event will take place at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Centre – Multifunctional Room 2, on Monday 30 January 2023 at 18:00 – 20:00.

The European SafeOnline Initiative (ESOI) project, funded by the European Commission’s Erasmus+ programme, aims to improve the new media literacy levels of children and young people through the education of their parents. The emphasis is on understanding the risks encountered in digital environments and developing skills to avoid them, with the vision of a safe internet for all.
